Wind energy is a renewable and clean source of power, as it does not produce greenhouse gas emissions or air pollutants during the generation process. Moreover, wind is an abundant natural resource available in many regions around the world, making wind energy a potentially accessible and cost-effective source of power.
We develop new wind farms in territorially suitable areas, seeking the right balance between energy yield, permitting timelines, and environmental integration.
We select the best ridgelines and the most wind-exposed flat areas thanks to our deep knowledge of the territories and wind data, built over many years of experience. We carry out site surveys and conduct preliminary assessments of site accessibility. We are deeply committed to protecting the environment and the communities in which we operate.
Each opportunity is evaluated by choosing the turbines best suited to the wind characteristics and the topography of the site.
We manage the entire connection process from the preliminary to the final phase, from medium to high voltage, also taking an active role in the conception, design, and authorization stages of the necessary National Transmission Network (RTN) works, including acting as lead partner in Terna’s technical working groups.
We develop each project by directly managing every stage of design and subsequent permitting, thanks to an integrated team of engineers and legal experts. We oversee the entire process, from local authorities to the ministries.
