Expertise and Dedication in Action

We understand the importance of renewable energy in combating climate change and building a sustainable future. With our expertise and dedication, we guide our customers through the complex process of authorizing renewable energy plants.

Photovoltaics are the leading renewable source driving the ongoing energy revolution and will play a major role in achieving the European targets for 2030 and 2050. We develop plants using the best technologies available on the market to maximize returns for investors, while paying close attention to environmental integration — prioritizing already degraded areas and agrivoltaic solutions.

AGRICULTURAL AREAS

Agricultural areas, which were the first to contribute to the expansion of utility-scale photovoltaic installations in Italy, will continue to play a key role in the future — primarily in a new form: agrivoltaics.

  • We develop utility-scale agrivoltaic plants with great attention to investor profitability, in full compliance with continuously evolving regulations.

  • Our design process is closely integrated with a thorough pedo-agronomic assessment of existing crops and future potential, also including effective agricultural improvement and regenerative farming interventions made possible by photovoltaic investment, thanks to our in-house team of agronomists.

  • We establish local supply chain agreements to develop projects that are rooted in their territory, creating win-win solutions among investors, farmers, and landowners.

PLANTS IN QUARRY OR LANDFILL AREAS

Exhausted quarries and landfills are ideal sites for the development of photovoltaic plants, as they are degraded areas.

  • National regulations favor these specific installations, ensuring simplified authorization procedures.
  • We carefully assess environmental, geomorphological, hydraulic, and interference compatibility with any residual on-site activities.
  • Following environmental restoration or remediation, where necessary, and the related testing phase, the photovoltaic plant integrates with the site, becoming itself an additional element of recovery.
  • The presence of a plant on a properly remediated landfill body is compatible with the post-closure management of the landfill, contributing—through surface right fees—to covering its ongoing management costs.
BASINS AND RESERVOIRS

Quarry basins and public or private artificial reservoirs are prime areas for the installation of floating photovoltaic systems, which are now widespread in many parts of the world.

  • The compatibility of such installations is established by national regulations.

  • The environmental impact is negligible: the floating platforms often become resting areas for birdlife.

  • The installation has no adverse effects on existing fish or plant life; by reducing evaporation, it helps preserve the increasingly valuable water resource.

  • The plant, which never covers the entire water surface and adapts to bathymetric variations, can also be installed in areas where recreational fishing activities are to be maintained.

INDUSTRIAL AREAS

Industrial areas that are not suitable for real estate development are already designated by current urban planning instruments for productive activities.

  • We carefully manage the simplified authorization procedures, designing either fixed or tracking photovoltaic systems.
  • We optimize the investment and technical solutions to offset the higher cost of the land.
