Cava Costanza, Novara

The Costanza quarry photovoltaic plant in Briona, near Novara, stands on a partially decommissioned quarry site. The area occupied by the plant covers approximately 18 hectares and hosts a 15 MWp solar park. InfraLab, together with A3FV, oversaw its development and permitting process, and in 2025 the photovoltaic plant began producing over 21,245 MWh per year of renewable energy — enough to meet the needs of more than 6,500 equivalent households.

Environmental enhancement works have been planned for the surrounding green areas, including the planting of hedgerows to support native species and, most notably, the restoration of the pond located in the eastern part of the site.
