Agrivoltaics Day 2026: opportunities to innovate the Future
2026 is shaping up to be a decisive year for agrivoltaics in Italy. The consolidation of regulations on suitable areas, the new provisions introduced by the Consolidated Text on Renewable Energy Sources (FER), the guidance of the Constitutional Court, and the progress of investments linked to PNRR calls will help define more clearly the role this technology will play in the national energy strategy.
In this context, Agrivoltaics Day 2026 – Opportunities to Innovate the Future (2nd Edition) will take place on January 22, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM, at the Ara Pacis in Rome. The initiative, promoted by Federazione ANIE, shines a spotlight on the strategic positioning of agrivoltaics within the Italian energy landscape, with a focus on the key challenges to be addressed across regulatory frameworks, environmental sustainability, and technical feasibility.
During the conference, operational models, market data, and concrete case studies will be presented, demonstrating the effectiveness of integrating agriculture and electricity production. The dialogue among institutions, industry associations, and sector operators will represent a key moment to discuss the contribution of agrivoltaics to the country’s energy security and food independence.
